Course for children and teenagers in French speaking schools (for pupils from CP to CM2, from 6 to 12)
This course is reserved for elementary school pupils registered in a French school program or in a school where the academic subjects are taught in French.
They are designed to be in accordance with the expectations of French Education curriculums for “oral communication, reading and writing in French”.
To help pupils:
• Succeed in their French program
• Improve pupils’ command of oral and written French through activities, tailored to the group’s need
• Improve pronunciation
• Stimulate pupils’ interest in reading and writing French
The teacher works closely with the pupils and tries to adapt curricular contents to learning environments.
The methods used allow pupils to improve and refine their language skills as well as socio-cultural expertise. In order to introduce an ability, the teacher supplies role playing, individual/team projects or writing exercises with tales or stories.
The pupils will receive support and will be provided with tools in grammar, vocabulary and language conventions (rules of pronunciation, linking words) to help them succeeding in their studies in French
Courses start on 15th of April and will take place on :
Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 6.30pm during 12 weeks (36 hours)
Saturday from 2pm to 4pm during 12 weeks (24 hours)
